The National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) has hired Min. David Street as director of membership and organizing.
Street, based in Washington, D.C., will lead NCRC efforts with community leaders, policymakers and financial institutions to champion fairness in banking, housing and business. As an ordained minister, he has been engrossed in organizing from both political and faith-based avenues. Outside of NCRC, Street currently works as the executive director of P.E.N. (Promote, Enrich and Nurture) DMV, a non-profit that specializes in mentoring and social media training for middle and high school youth and as a minister at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
Street has numerous achievements including being selected as a 2017 “National Christian Innovative Leader” by Duke University and as the National Minority Quality Forum’s inaugural “40 Under 40” Leaders in Minority Health.
