NCRC is launching a quarterly fair housing online meeting with NCRC members as a new benefit of membership. The first meeting will take place October 27, 2021, from 11 am to Noon ET via Zoom.
We want this first call to be a time for members to meet and talk with NCRC’s fair housing and fair lending teams. Among other things, we’ll talk about how to partner with members to address discriminatory practices across the country.
We’ll discuss new disparate impact rules, new forms of housing discrimination in areas such as housing appraisals, national trends in fair housing, fair lending, strategize on enforcement approaches, and share how we can support one another in this work. We’ll also talk about how to adjust to a new normal with the ongoing pandemic. However, one thing remains constant – we are all in this fight together and this new member meeting will strengthen our ability to create a just economy.
