Lara Benson is an attorney in the National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s Fair & Equitable Opportunity Department. In this role, she focuses on investigation and enforcement efforts, ensuring compliance with civil rights laws and advocating for equal access to housing and financial opportunities. During her time with NCRC, Lara has conducted and analyzed over 300 matched-pair civil rights tests throughout the country. She is passionate about leveraging civil rights testing as a tool for promoting systemic change and advancing equity.

Lara holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Bar. Lara lives in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and her dog.

Victoria Hausch is the Fair and Equitable Opportunity Program Specialist at NCRC. She is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with degrees in Economics and Sociology. Victoria has experience in local tenant advocacy and grassroots organizing through her work in the Isla Vista Tenants Union, and she is excited to return to NCRC after previously interning with the Fair Housing & Fair Lending Department.
