Braelyn Spitler
Braelyn Spitler is the Senior Development Associate for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC). Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Braelyn received her bachelor of science from Emerson College in Boston, with a focus on political communications, pre-law and peace & social justice. Her background lies between the intersection of nonprofit grassroots fundraising, political advocacy and campaign communication through her work in Ohio and Massachusetts. During Braelyn’s undergrad, she interned for NCRC’s communications and development teams, before being brought on full-time.

Devin Thompson
Devin Thompson is the Director of Health Equity and Impact for NCRC. He brings over two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of comprehensive community development, health equity and economic justice. As the Director of Health Equity and Impact at NCRC, Devin develops and implements intersectional programming that supports our members to increase the flow of capital into their communities from anchor investors to community-identified health-related social needs. His work focuses on building cross-sector partnerships that drive sustainable, measurable improvements in both resident resiliency and improved community environment.
Before joining NCRC, Devin held senior leadership roles in national, regional and local organizations, including Martha’s Table, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), Jubilee Housing, Prosperity Now and Capital Area Asset Builders. At Martha’s Table, he led the buildout of Martha’s Table’s first comprehensive community development framework, redefining the organization’s approach to community engagement and social impact and helping it pivot from a community service organization to a community intermediary. At LISC, he led the development of social determinants of health programs and facilitated the creation and launch of innovative initiatives focused on financial opportunity, entrepreneurial development and a district-based approach to economic advocacy that was eventually adopted across LISC’s national footprint.
A recognized leader in collective impact and place-based strategies, Devin has developed and led multi-sector initiatives aimed at addressing systemic barriers to community revitalization at the intersection of economic mobility and health equity. His work has been published by national philanthropic organizations and featured in publications such as the Stanford Social Innovation Review, Results for America and the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

Kaylee Harcrow is the Special Assistant for Programs and Strategic Development. She plays a key role in NCRC’s membership and conference planning work. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s in Social Work. During her undergraduate career, Kaylee interned with NCRC’s Development and Communications teams.

Luis Ortiz
Luis Ortiz has been with NCRC since 2012. As the Senior Grants Specialist, he oversees the grant application process as well as being in charge of grant compliance. Prior to NCRC Luis helped families build wealth through homeownership as a mortgage banker. He then moved to NCRC and as a Housing Counselor helping families navigate the loss mitigation process. He then became a Regional coordinator, managing NCRC’s Housing Counseling Network. One of Luis’s passions is assisting underserved communities in reaching their homeownership goals.

Sabrina Terry
Sabrina Terry is NCRC’s Chief of Programs and Strategic Development. She will be leading strategy and resource development for special initiatives, supporting the executive team form and manage industry councils and will take over leading the Race, Wealth and Community team.
Prior to NCRC, Sabrina was the senior program manager of Economic Initiatives within the UnidosUS’ Policy and Advocacy Department. Sabrina implemented UnidosUS nationwide pilots that integrate technology and financial products into direct services targeting low-income Latinos and immigrants. She also advocated for a more inclusive financial system for Latinos, including research and data analysis on the intersections of immigration policies, financial services and wealth.
Sabrina also served as the manager of Community and Economic Development for the NAACP National Economic Department. She provided technical assistance to NAACP state and local branches to engage in economic justice policy campaigns and programs. Sabrina has also worked as an Urban Planner at the United Organization for Puerto Ricans (UPROSE) in Brooklyn, New York, where she managed area-wide studies assessing transportation and economic development opportunities.
Sabrina has experience working at the intersections of policy and practice at the national, state and local level, covering issues ranging from economic inequality, financial capability and community development. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University and master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt University.
